What your child learns
That taking away means something goes and adding means something comes. Your child lets balloons fly away and counts what is left, and sees that five minus two is the same as three.
How to help
Play the same with toys: five cars, two drive into the garage, how many are left? After a slip, the game counts the balloons that are left together with your child.
Levels
Take away to 5 is the right start at age five. Take away to 10 and Plus and minus are for children who already add to ten. At least one balloon always stays, and every finished game earns a star.
