What your child learns
That every object gets exactly one number, that the last number said tells how many there are, and what that number looks like written down. The boxes below the picture group things in fives, like a ten frame.
How to help
Count out loud together and touch each object. When your child slips, the game never says "no"; it offers to count again together.
Levels
To 3 is for the youngest, to 5 suits most three and four year olds, and to 10 is for children who already count to five with confidence.
